Practical information
  1. FOOD
    There is an on-site canteen that is open for breakfast, lunch and supper every day. Colindale and Barnet have plenty of cheap restaurants. Waitrose is the main supermarket. There is also a vegetable market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
  2. SHOPPING
    Barnet High Street has most shops and there is a Waitrose supermarket five minutes' walk from the hospital. There are also banks and a shopping mall.
  3. LAUNDRY
    Colindale hospital has free laundry facilities for students and there are also laundromats in Edgeware.
  4. All the cultural events are 30 minutes away by underground in central London. Guidebooks and information are avilable.l
